We finally have Skirk’s kit, skills, Talents, and Constellations in Genshin Impact! Here’s why we think she’s the next Cryo star.
Skirk is finally becoming playable in Genshin Impact. Is she worth the long wait? Check out Skirk's kit, skills, Traces, and Constellations to see if she's worth your Primogems.
For the long wait that HoYoverse made us endure for Skirk to be playable, they seem to have extended an olive branch. This comes in the form of making her materials completely pre-farmable! Check out the entire Skirk Ascension and Talent material list here.
The information below did not come from official channels and is subject to changes.
Skirk kit
As a playable character, Skirk is a 5-star Cryo Sword character.

Basic Attack - Havoc: Sunder
This is a usual basic attack Talent. Her Charged Attack has her hurl a spear forward.
Elemental Skill - Havoc: Warp
Skirk imitates the combat style of "The Foul." This skill has different effects on Tap and Hold. On either cast, she will gain Serpent's Subtlety.
Tap
Switch to the Seven-Phase Flash mode.
Hold
Continuously move at a high speed and increase her interruption resistance. Recast to end rapid movement.
Elemental Burst - Havoc: Ruin
This Elemental Burst does not rely on Energy, but instead on Serpent's Subtlety.
When Skirk has enough Serpent's Subtlety, she expends all of them to unleash her Elemental Burst, dealing AoE Cryo DMG. Any Serpent's Subtlety past the minimum needed to cast will also be expended to increase the damage dealt, but this is capped.

Elemental Burst - Havoc: Extinction
This can be cast if Skirk is in the Seven-Phase Slash state and does not consume Serpent's Subtlety. She will gain the "All Shall Wither" effect as long as she is in Seven-Phase Slash.
Skirk Passive Talents
Mutual Weapons Mentorship
When the party is composed of only Hydro and Cryo characters, and there is at least one Hydro and one Cryo character, increase all members' Elemental Skill level by 1.
Reason Beyond Reason
A Void Rift will be created near an opponent when Frozen, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, or Cryo Crystallize is triggered against them by any party member. This has a short cooldown, and there is a maximum count of how many Void Rifts can exist on the field at once.
Skirk can absorb Void Rifts by:
- Hitting an opponent with a Charged Attack while in Seven-Phase Flash.
- Using Elemental Burst - Havoc: Extinction
- When moving rapidly by holding Elemental Skill - Havoc: Warp
Each absorbed Void Rift also grants Serpent's Subtlety points.
Return to Oblivion
When Hydro party members deal Hydro DMG or when Cryo party members, apart from Skirk, deal Cryo DMG, she gains a "Death's Crossing" stack. Each character can only grant one stack, effectively capping this at three stacks.
Each stack increases the damage dealt by Skirk's Normal Attack while in Seven-Phase Flash and Elemental Burst - Havoc: Ruin.
Skirk Constellations
- Far to Fall - Enhance Passive Talent: Reason Beyond Reason.
- Deal additional Cryo DMG to nearby opponents when absorbing a Void Rift.
- Into the Abyss
- Gain additional Serpent's Subtlety points after using Elemental Skill - Havoc: Warp.
- Increase the cap on how many additional Serpent's Subtlety points will increase the damage of Elemental Burst - Havoc: Ruin.
- Increase Normal Attack DMG while in Seven-Phase Flash.
- Serendipitous Sin - Increase Elemental Burst level and level cap.
- Fractured Flow - Enhance Passive Talent: Return to Oblivion.
- Death's Crossing stacks now also increase Skirk's ATK stat.
- Wish Ender - Increase Elemental Skill level and level cap.
- To The Source - Absorbing a Void Rift now grants a Havoc: Sever stack. These stacks are consumed by:
- Using Elemental Burst - Havoc: Ruin to execute a coordinated attack that deals a lot of Cryo DMG. All stacks are consumed.
- One stack is consumed when she executes the third or fifth attack in the Normal Attack chain while in Seven-Phase Slash.
- One stack is consumed when Skirk takes damage to reduce the damage taken and deal damage to nearby enemies.
