In Genshin Impact, Ororon is an Electro character. Unofficial sources suggest that he will be 4-star and will wield a bow.
Ororon's reveal had a story between him and Ifa - a doctor. It seems that Ororon has a peculiar way of speaking and thinking. He is affiliated with the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe.
Genshin Impact fans had their first glimpse of him in the "Ignition Teaser" that previewed Natlan characters.
His name is possibly taken from Olorun, the Yoruba religion's supreme deity.
His constellation is named Vampyrum Spectrum. This is the scientific name of the Spectral Bat, a carnivorous bat found in Central and South America as well as Mexico.
The bat thematic extend to his outfit, as his cape appears to mirror bat wings.
