Console farmers will have to hold out a little while longer.

Stardew Valley just released its biggest update ever, Version 1.6. It includes new items, new events, new achievements, and more. So far, the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley has only come out on PC with no news on when it will become available on console and mobile.

Right now, only PC players are able to have the farming fun. So when exactly is the 1.6 update coming out for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and mobile?

When will the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley be available on consoles?

Right now, there’s no confirmed date on when the 1.6 update will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Playstation, and mobile. However, ConcernedApe did confirm on Twitter on April 6 that he is still working on the release but does not yet have a release date.

Earlier, ConcernedApe confirmed in a blogpost that “console and mobile updates will follow as soon as they are ready."

He also stated, “there is no current estimate for that, but they are actively in development.” ConcernedApe is a developer that always keep his promises. We have faith that the console release will come sooner than later.
