Recently, developers revealed more about how teams will stack up against one another at the game's launch, noting that these will be subject to change as the season progresses. So, here are the top 25 team rankings in overall, offense, and defense in College Football 25.

According to developers, the top 25 offensive team rankings in College Football 25 are the following:

- Alabama - 91 OVR
- Texas - 91 OVR
- Ohio State - 89 OVR
- LSU - 89 OVR
- Miami - 89 OVR
- Colorado - 89 OVR
- Missouri - 89 OVR
- Clemson - 87 OVR
- Utah - 87 OVR
- Penn State - 87 OVR
- Ole Miss - 87 OVR

It is, however, worth noting that these rankings do differ a bit from some unofficial ratings that were previewed early on, so developers will likely look to aggressively patch the game to reflect real-world success or failure.
