256 players gathered this weekend in Burbank, California. Only one player walked out as a winner.

After two intense days of Street Fighter action, the Capcom Cup IX Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) has ended. The tournament was a final chance for players to compete in person and advance to the Capcom Cup finals.

The catch; only one person was able to qualify, hence it being called the "Last Chance Qualifier".

The tournament started off Sunday, February 12. With multiple competitors participating in the LAN event, it ended up being a stacked event.

An entire studio in Burbank, California was filled for the event.

The first day was an open qualifier, but Monday, February 13 was the top 16. With a filled bracket, we got to see the top players face off for this last chance of making it into the finals.

Broadcasted on Capcom Fighter's Twitch, the tournament ended up lasting over 15 hours combined between the two days.

Monday's Top 16 bracket was filled with some of the top competitors in the game. Everyone was hungry for that finals spot.
