Summer Games Fest 2024 date and live stream announced

It’s a fest of summer games.

Geoff Keighley has finally graced us with the fast-approaching dates for 2024 Summer Games Fest! The Summer Games Fest is what has effectively replaced E3 since it called curtains back in December 2023 (Gone, but not forgotten) before the pandemic. It's a much more accessible version of the event though, that's streamable and viewable on YouTube. It'll be interesting to see what the gaming industry has in store for us at the Summer Games Fest.

So there it is: the 2024 Summer Games Fest dates are set for June 7! But wait, what's this about tickets? It appears the Summer Games Fest is going to be a live event that's not just streamable online, but attendable offline.

Public tickets for the event will be available for purchase on May 7, exactly a month before the main event.

How can I watch the 2024 Summer Games Fest?

As mentioned above, the Summer Games Fest is a live event that can be experienced both online and offline. The venue for the SGF is the YouTube Theater in LA. In case you manage to snag the tickets after they're made available on May 7, you can attend it in person.

Otherwise, you can always watch it with a tub of popcorn at home on the official YouTube channel. Major video game publications such as IGN will also stream it on their channels. The event is going to be a two-hour showcase of what's to come in the gaming industry.

The Summer Game Fest is on June 7, 2024. The event starts at the following times across timezones:

  • 2 p.m. Pacific Time (PT)
  • 5 p.m. Eastern Time (ET)
  • 9 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

You'll have to adjust your time zones accordingly to catch it live.

In case you're wondering about when and where you can buy the tickets, keep watching this space and we'll update it as soon as the info goes live. Or you could always keep an eye on the Summer Games Fest or Geoff Keighley's socials.
