This is a major global product update that features access to detailed Twitch audience information, including gender, age, income, and interests.
Streams Charts has launched a global update that lets its PRO users view detailed Twitch audience demographics. Read on for details.
Streams Charts rolls out major global update
Streams Charts just rolled out a major global product update related to Twitch. Starting Oct. 28, the platform's PRO users can get viewer data pertaining to gender, age ranges, income ranges, and family status, language, occupations, and interests.
According to the analytics platform, Twitch sponsorships are becoming more competitive, and brands, agencies, and creators have long struggled with inconsistent audience insights. This not only slows campaign planning but also makes it harder to justify return on investment (ROI) for sponsorships.
Therefore, with the global product update expanding demographic data for every Twitch channel in Streams Charts, users can access comprehensive metrics. These metrics are also offered in a standardized and exportable format. The insights gained from the information can then help with audience vetting.
Streams Charts and accurate Twitch data
In terms of data accuracy, the Twitch audience metrics are benchmarked and verified for consistency. Channels are also compared to peer benchmarks, and data includes audience ranges and confidence intervals for context. Accuracy improves over time through ongoing calibration and user feedback.
"We use a statistical inference approach built on our long-standing audience geography dataset and historical platform signals," the platform's team explained.
As for the cost of the new demographic dataset, it's available for PRO users for $500 per month. This is part of the Audience Geo and Demographics add-on. Regular PRO users, meanwhile, can access a limited yet free version of the feature and see the audience data of up to 10 Twitch channels per month.
