SMITE 2 Alpha Weekend 1 release date

Here is the countdown to the release date and time for the SMITE 2 Alpha Weekend 1 event. It runs between May 2 and May 4. The servers open on Thursday, May 2 at 5 p.m. PDT and close on Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m PDT.

A total of 14 gods can be tested out during SMITE 2 Alpha Weekend 1. These include Anhur, Anubis, Athena, Bacchus, Bellona, Cernunnos, Chaac, Loki, Fenrir, Kukulkan, Neith, Odin, Ymir, and Zeus.

SMITE 2 Alpha patch notes

All of the patch notes for the SMITE 2 Alpha can be found in the official playtest blog. There are a plethora of updates in terms of gameplay, the SMITE 2 combat system, Conquest, items, and the gods themselves. According to the developers, the goal of SMITE 2's gods is to make each one of them unique in terms of their abilities. Meanwhile, base stats, items, and more aim to support role flexibility.

What to expect in SMITE 2 Alpha Week 1

As for what to expect in the inaugural weekend, players can look forward to the Conquest game mode. This is a five-versus-five, three-lane mode. In addition to the 14 available gods, SMITE 2 Alpha Week 1 also features 10 Cross-Gen skins and six skins that are exclusive to SMITE 2.
