We're a month out from the release of WWE 2K24, but we now know (some of) the matches appearing in this year's premiere mode, Showcase of the Immortals. Revealed today in a trailer from 2K Games, 16 of the matches representing watershed moments in WWF/E history are now known out of the announced 21 matches.
Of course, in the case of some of the Showcase of the Immortals matches in WWE 2K24 we're using the term "immortal" loosely. No offense to Seth Rollins and Randy Orton, but they just don't compare to the likes of HBK and Razor Ramon. More importantly, with the number of past performers becoming persona non grata in WWE multimedia, what matches are left? Did Stevie Richards defeat The Streak?

What matches are in the Showcase of the Immortals WWE 2K24 mode?
Here's a currently-partial list of matches coming to this year's WWE2K Showcase Mode. What are the last five matches? Your guess is as good as mine.

This is a fairly boilerplate list, though, the latter half somewhat pales in comparison to the early hits. I also would have picked less paint-by-numbers, most obvious choices. But, hey: The roster is the roster and it's not like they can include Bret versus Owen Hart--my favorite WrestleMania match of all time.

The big question remains: In a WWE 2K24 mode called Showcase of the Immortals, meant to highlight the biggest WrestleMania matches ever, does the publisher pull the trigger on Brock Lesnar? We've talked already about the former UFC star and current federal sex trafficking lawsuit person of interest being removed from the game's cover.
Will he also be gone from the game in, what is, the biggest WrestleMania match of all time against The Undertaker? We won't know until March 8 when the game hits retail.
