Roblox players that want to take the game for a spin on their PlayStation can rejoice with a version coming soon.
There's no debate that Roblox is one of the most popular gaming platforms around. You can experience everything from pet simulators to war roleplay servers. But that's only if you have a PC, Xbox, or supported mobile device. Now, Roblox expands its grasp even further with an announced release on PlayStation consoles.

Roblox hosts millions of players daily and has done so for years. It first arrived in 2006 on Windows PC. After that, it joined iOS in 2012, Android in 2014, and Xbox in 2015. After all of this time, nearly 20 years after its creation, Roblox heads to PlayStation and Meta Quest VR.
The release a PlayStation version is long overdue, as players that are dedicated to that console family have felt left out. Gamers on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will soon have access to Roblox, as their versions are coming in October.
Roblox Corporation has stated the experience on PlayStation will be "the full catalog." The free-to-play game platform is home to countless of games integrated into the system. Developers are free to create nearly anything they have in mind.
With the full catalog available, it is safe to assume you'll be able to transfer your Roblox data onto your PlayStation copy from the likes of your Xbox and PC. It's what PS users have been waiting for and the wait isn't much longer.
Of course, that still leaves out Nintendo Switch players. It's bound to happen eventually, right? Well, the makers currently have no plans to bring it to Nintendo Switch, leaving the latest adaptations of the game to PlayStation and Meta Quest users.
