Samy "Riversgg" Rivera won the award for Streamer of the Year at the 2023 Esports Awards! The audience at the Resorts World Las Vegas room cheered as her name was announced at the event.
Riversgg wins Streamer of the Year Award
When Riversgg arrived on the Esports Awards stage, she gave a heartwarming acceptance speech. She also acknowledged Latin America and thanked her fans. On social media, user boorapids translated her speech as well.
"If I'm not mistaken, I'm the first person from Latin America that has received this award," Riversgg said. She added how it's her hope that in the following years, another Latin American will claim victory. "Thank you for letting me live my dreams."
