The closed beta kicks off on Oct. 30.

Created by former professional Hearthstone player and Tempo Storm founder Andrey "Reynad" Yanyuk, The Bazaar is a hero-builder game for Mac and PC. Initially designed as a deck-building game, it has since shifted directions. On Oct. 11, Reynad posted an official update about the game, revealing the release date for The Bazaar's closed beta, a roadmap, and more.

The Bazaar release date and roadmap

"In early December, we're gonna open it up to open beta — at which point anyone can get in for free just by downloading the game from our website," Reynad said, adding that he hopes to kick off The Bazaar Season 1 in early next year.

According to the roadmap posted on the official social media account for The Bazaar, the game is also getting a worldwide release in January 2025.

Five years in the making

While the team at The Bazaar anticipates some bugs and balance issues on Day 1 due to it being their first game as an indie studio, Reynad stated that they are committed to making improvements as quickly as they can based on player feedback.

To him, the game is the culmination of five years of hard work from lots of people. Therefore, he hopes this dedication is evident when players experience the game for themselves.

"I want to give a big thank you, first of all, to everyone on the team who has touched this project — everyone at Tempo, every creative that's either working on the project today or has worked on the project at some point," Reynad said.

He continued, "So many people have touched this game over its five years of development and put a bit of their soul into it — into the part that they own — and I really think it shows. This game is the culmination of a lot of talented people's work for a great deal of time. [There's] been a lot of love and care put into this, and I hope that shows to you guys when you play it here at the end of this month."
