Persona 4 Revival has finally been revealed at the recent Xbox Games Showcase! See what we know about P4R here.

After weeks of hints, ATLUS and SEGA have officially revealed the remake of Persona 4, titled Persona 4 Revival, during the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025.

Persona 4 Revival

The trailer played near the end of the show, and didn't really show much apart from confirming the Persona 4 remake's existence.

We got a few glimpses of the various areas in Inaba: the bridge, shrine, a classroom, and a street, all accented by the game's iconic TV aesthetic. We are also treated to a short clip of the game's protagonist roaming an overworld area.

At the end, we got the official title reveal for Persona 4 Revival.

A statement from P-STUDIO director Kazuhisa Wada was posted across official ATLUS social media.

"Persona 4 has spawned numerous spin-off works, and is a special title that has been a part of Atlus for many years and holds a personal place in my heart," Wada said. "We are currently working on this project with a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all."

"But what about Persona 6?" you may ask. Wada also has something to share about future entries. "We are actively preparing for the future development of the Persona series as a studio," he said. "We are working hard to meet the expectations of fans around the world and our work is progressing well."

So, things are looking up for Persona fans! While waiting for the eventual release of the next entry in the mainline series, you can bide the time with Persona 3 Reload or the upcoming Persona 4 Revival.

Persona 4 Revival release date

Unfortunately, the trailer did not reveal a release date. However, it did confirm the platforms on which Persona 4 Revival will be available: Xbox Series X|S, PC via the Windows Store and Steam, and PlayStation 5. It will also be on Xbox Game Pass.

Information surrounding the game emphasizes that it is in the early development stage. As such, it would be safe to say that it will most likely not be released within the year.

You can head over to the official website (this link for Asia) to wishlist the game as it gets added on different storefronts and platforms.
