Concluding the Shadowlands expansion

The new World of Warcraft expansion reveal date was first announced back in March. During that time, the developers hoped that players enjoyed the Eternity’s End content update.

“The heroes of Azeroth have been called forth to this intriguing new land of Zereth Mortis to thwart the Jailer's efforts and stop him from rewriting reality as we know it,” the announcement said.

Also in March, players competed in the Sepulcher of the First Ones Race to World First event, with Echo players becoming the Race to World First champions after defeating the Jailer in 277 pulls.

As fans waited for more information about the next expansion, they also got to watch some World of Warcraft Arena World Championship action over on YouTube. For a total of four weeks, North American and European teams duked it out against each other in their respective regions.

While North America’s Team Liquid and Europe’s SK Pieces took home the gold in the third week of matches, Kawhi and Kungarna also played incredibly well and won three cups out of the four. This further secured their place in the Arena World Championship Circuit.
