Netflix Geeked Week 2022 sees the return of two massively popular gaming series, and the debut of two more!

Good news for video game adaptation fans, as Netflix Geeked Week teases Arcane Season 2, Tekken: Bloodlines, and Dota: Dragon’s Blood Book 3. A trailer for Netflix’s festival of geeky entertainment was released on the 16th of May, and on May 26th, full details on the event were released.

Between June 6th-June 10th, Netflix will be taken over by geeky shows, movies, and animation. And among those shows will be previews and teasers of upcoming series.

Arcane’s presence at Geeked Week had already featured in the trailer. However, with the second season not expected until the end of this year, it’s unlikely that we’ll see anything other than a preview or trailer of the upcoming season. Still, with a show as good as Arcane, any news is good news.

But the release also confirmed that something new for Dota: Dragon’s Blood and Tekken: Bloodlines would debut during Netflix Geeked Week 2022. This pair of anticipated titles will debut along with some other familiar gaming titles as part of the dedicated geek week.

When does Dota: Dragon’s Blood Season 3 / Book 3 release?

Dota: Dragon’s Blood Book 3, the third season of Dota: Dragon’s Blood, will likely release as part of Geeked Week 2022 on June 10th. It’s scheduled for release on the final day alongside Tekken: Bloodlines and Sonic Prime.

Netflix commitment to Gaming entertainment

Gaming and game adaptations overall have become a big selling point for Netflix. Besides their acquisition of games studios the past two years, Arcane, Dota: Dragon’s Blood, and The Cuphead Show have been successful properties for the streaming service.

But Netflix is keen to expand this portfolio of game adaptations. The trailer for Geeked Week 2022 features clips from the Resident Evil series, and the new Cyberpunk 2077 animated series, Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

Two huge debuts

It’s also been revealed that two huge new gaming adaptions will debut during Netflix Geeked Week 20202. Tekken: Bloodline and Sonic Prime will premier on Netflix on June 10th. Tekken: Bloodline will tell the story of Jin Kazama as he searches for answers about his legacy. While Sonic Prime’s storyline has yet to be revealed.

Overall, this is a hell of a week for fans of gaming and animation alike. So set Geeked Week 2022 in you calendar now!
