NAVI were awarded the best eSports org at The Game Awards 2021. This comes after an incredible year in Counter Strike.

Ukrainian esports organisation NAVI was named the best eSports org at The Game Awards 2021, beating Sentinels, Atlanta FAZE and others. The Game Awards was finally back in person for 2021, and opened with a range of esports awards. Featuring dozens of exclusive announcements, the awards night always attracts the attention of the whole gaming community.

Founded in 2009, NAVI has made an impact in a wide range of major games. Notably, Counter-Strike, Dota, League of Legends and Apex Legends.

NAVI’s CS:GO dominance

In 2021, NAVI has found the most notable success in Counter-Strike. Winning the PGL Major in Stockholm with a flawless performance. his victory secured the NAVI CS:GO team a cool $1,000,000. This was a follow-up to another incredible $1,000,000 victory at the INTEL Grand Slam in September.

NAVI is at the absolute peak of the CS:GO scene, and this success has continued in recent weeks, with a victory in the BLAST Premier Fall finals just a few weeks ago.

These big victories have rounded out an incredibly successful year for the CS:GO division. They have won no less than 9 tournaments this year, securing almost $4,000,000 total prize winnings.

NAVI’s incredible victories

  • BLAST Premier Fall Finals ($225,000)
  • PGL Major: Stockholm 2021 ($1,000,000)
  • Intel Grand Slam Season 3 ($1,000,000)
  • Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Cologne ($400,000)
  • Dream Hack Masters Spring ($100,000)
  • BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020 ($600,000)

Undoubtedly, the success of the NAVI CS:GO team is what has propelled them to this accolade. While other teams, such as their Apex Legends roster have secured notable victories – none of the other divisions can claim to be anywhere near the NAVI CS:GO teams’ domination in 2021.

If their CS:GO team continues in this vein of form, they will be favorites to retain this title at next year’s awards.

Other awards include s1mple for Esports Player of the Year, League of Legends Worlds 2021 for Esports Event of the Year, and League of Legends coach Kkoma for Esports Coach of the Year.
