Kamil Pawlowski defeats favorites in the Grand Final of Ferrari Esports Series

A total of 35,000 sim racers registered for the pre-qualifying races and after a multitude of rounds, 24 racers faced off in the Grand Finals. Across three different circuits – Imola, Barcelona, and Mugello, the bloodthirsty finalists roared their engines and prepared for the race.

There are also favorites of the show- Isaac Price, Arnold Lacombe, and Kamil Lapowski himself who competed for the coveted slot on the FDA esports team. The French racer, Lacombe stumbled upon unfortunate contacts which penalized him in the most important races. Price and Pawlowski, on the other hand, were neck to neck. But Pawlowski showcased careful and concentrated race conduct in the third circuit, outrunning his opponents. He finished the race and Price followed after to claim 2nd place.

What is the Ferrari Driver Academy?

The Ferrari Driver Academy is an initiative from Ferrari’s F1 team to promote young talent in its organization. This academy provides funding and long-term contracts for selected talents.

In 2019, Ferrari started the FDA Esports Team to compete in the Formula One Esports Series. A way for them to select talents to join the team will be through The Ferrari Esports Series.
