Immortals Gaming Club announced a series of changes to the company as they appoint Jordan Sherman as the new CEO of Immortals.
Immortals Gaming Club (ICG) announced a series of corporate changes that will separate the company into four separate units alongside executive promotions. The biggest executive promotion of all being their new initiative to promote Jordan Sherman as the new CEO of Immortals starting September 30, 2021.
Sherman initially joined IGC as its President & Chief Commercial Officer in May 2021. Prior to joining IGC, he was previously the Chief Revenue Officer at Gen.G, and has also held roles with the Los Angeles Clippers and at Major League Baseball.
Since joining Immortals, Sherman put focus into “lowering the entry point for brands and fans” wanting to enter or access competitive gaming. Since then, Immortals have expanded into Wild Rift and introduced new content formats to increase fan engagement.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead Immortals in this next chapter. Ari and the senior leadership team, as well as Immortals’ Board of Directors, have been incredibly supportive of me, starting in the initial hiring process, onboarding, and carrying through to today’s announcement.” Sherman states. “There has been a lot of hard work done to get the company to this point; from here, we can grow from a position of strength and stability. Immortals will make a series of announcements over the coming weeks that will further define and describe our shared vision and the opportunities ahead.”
