Helldivers 2 ‘Democratic Detonation’ Warbond: Weapons, armor, and more

Helldivers 2 is getting another premium Warbond in April, according to the game’s official Twitter account. The new Warbond will be titled Democratic Detonation and will focus on a more explosive style of gameplay.

The Democratic Detonation Warbond drops on April 11 and will probably decrease the average Helldiver lifespan by 50 percent.

The Democratic Detonation Warbond will add a whole new selection of armors, primary and secondary weapons, boosters, and capes. So far, we know that this includes a Grenade Pistol, a new marksman rifle, an explosive rifle, an explosive crossbow, and a new type of special grenade called the thermite.

The new Warbond will also feature a new type of booster, the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster, which will decrease the amount of time it takes for the extraction shuttle to land after being called.

Like all the other premium ones, Helldivers 2's Democratic Detonation Warbond will cost 1,000 Super Credits. That’s $9.99 USD if you want to buy it outright. However, players can collect Super Credits through missions and the free Warbond, so it’s possible to grind out the necessary dough without spending money.

Thankfully, the Warbonds will never expire, as confirmed by the developers at Arrowhead Studios. So you don’t have to worry about missing out on any sweet capes or emotes while earning your Super Credits!
