GTA 6 set for Fall 2025 release date according to report

According to a May 16 report from Cecilia D'Anastasio at Bloomberg, GTA 6 will have a release date of Fall 2025. This comes straight from Take-Two Interactive, who have also stated that they "reduced its bookings forecast for the current fiscal year as a result," according to D'Anastasio.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 6 have been kept largely in the dark about the storied title's release date up until now. Loads of speculation has taken place since the game's trailer was first released in December of 2023. Now, at least fans have a date range to circle on the calendar.

There was no specific reason mentioned in the report for the timeframe. However, it does line up with Take-Two's initial promise that the game would be hitting shelves in 2025. By all accounts, this timeframe likely fits in with what many had speculated.
