Buckle up PlayStation 5 players, as you’ll soon be able to get your hands on the once Xbox exclusive Forza Horizon 5.

It all started with the likes of Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Sea of Thieves. Now, more prominent Xbox titles are headed to PlayStation. This may just be the beginning of seeing big former Xbox exclusives arrive on PlayStation 5, as Forza Horizon 5 launches this Spring.

This may open the door for titles such as Halo and Gears of War to be playable on other consoles. The Forza series has been a standout for Xbox for years, and while it is a bit of an older title at this point, PlayStation 5 players can rejoice with a solid racing game.

Forza Horizon 5 launched on November 9, 2021 for Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and other cloud gaming avenues Microsoft provides. It won multiple Game of the Year awards and is the most expansive Forza game ever to be released up to this point.

The game has nearly 1,000 available cars, dozens of thematic updates, and so much more content as you explore the beauty of Mexico. All of that is available right out of the gate when Forza Horizon 5 comes to PlayStation 5 consoles.

This includes all previously released car packs, and the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions. Those are available for purchase, but all free updates are immediately included with the game. Alongside this news comes Horizon Realms.

Horizon Realms is a new free content update for all platforms. Expect some surprises, but also know that it involves players exploring a curated collection of community favorites that will allow PS5 and Xbox players to connect like never before.

At the time of writing, and the announcement, there is no specifics on price or release date. We do know that it is slated to arrive in Spring 2025. That means any time before the middle of June, as that is when Summer officially begins.
