Faze Clan cleaned house the other day, getting rid of the majority of their creators. However, one founder wants to preserve the organization’s history.
If you are in any way involved in the gaming/streamer community, you probably have seen how FaZe dropped the majority of its creators, completely cleaning house. This was a surprising move by the company, leaving many wondering just what the next move for the organization is. However, one person decided to create a website with all the history of FaZe Clan, in hopes of preserving the legacy that is latched onto the organization.

“I noticed the FaZe Clan website(s) were taken down, so I decided to make one for the community to preserve the FaZe history before anything else is deleted,” said Clipz on Twitter. ”Faze4ever.com features over 300+ historical members, $21,000,000 in esports tournament achievements, 1800+ YouTube videos, and more.”
The site, faze4ever.com, can be viewed on your browser and is a hub for those looking to explore FaZe’s vast history.
The site features everything from the organization’s timeline (for instance, you can find the very first video ever uploaded to their YouTube all the way to their most recent) to all of their esports earnings and more.
FaZe certainly left a legacy worth talking about, and while their future is unknown, its great to dwell on their expansive and incredibly successful past.
Faze Clan speaks on cleaning house
Many have been waiting to get word from FaZe on why they dropped so many creators. While the organization has not said why, they did make a post on Twitter talking about how it is the end of an era.
“It’s heartbreaking to see this era of FaZe come to a close. It’s beyond tragic the way it all ended, it’s been an emotional few days,” said FaZe on Twitter. “We wish the boys the best not only as creators, but as people too. FaZe has always felt like a family, so we will always unconditionally root for and support them.”
While still little information was released regarding their drop of so many creators, the organization did make it clear they will be focusing on esports for the time being.
“FaZe eSports has always operated as a separate entity, nothing on that side will change. Rather it will become our main focus moving forward.”
It is an interesting business move, as content creating is much more successful and a much larger money maker than esports.
