Delta Force will no longer go into Early Access, but rather release in a Global Open Beta state for PC in December.

Delta Force, formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, had a fairly success closed alpha test earlier in 2024. They then opened their doors for Steam Next Fest, as players eagerly awaited PC Early Access. Well, now a Global Open Beta for Delta Force is on the way, replacing that previously known Early Access label.

From dropping the Hawk Ops subtitle to being open and free to everyone, here's everything you need to know about this transition and what it means for Delta Force going forward.

Delta Force PC Global Open Beta to launch on December 5

Early Access for PC players was set to begin on December 5, 2024. That date remains, but it is now for the launch of a PC Global Open Beta in Delta Force.

It has been confirmed that this is the initial release version for the game. It will jump straight into full live-service updates with a ton of content, and they will no longer rest progress, and they expect console and mobile versions to arrive Q1 of 2025.

The launch of the Delta Force PC Global Open Beta coincides with the game's Season 1, Genesis. Per the developer's announcement, there is loads of content arriving with Season 1 that will keep players coming back for more.

You'll see a new Operator, new modes and maps to play in both Havoc Warfare and Hazard Operations, as well as new weapons, vehicles, UI, mechanics, servers, and much more. This includes a Battle Pass with paid elements, but they strictly state there will be no pay-to-win aspects of their microtransactions.
