The Capcom NEXT event announced new titles and updates for the summer. The featured games included Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the arrival of Resident Evil 7 biohazard on Apple devices, and more. Additionally, the event confirmed that a new entry to the Resident Evil franchise is in development.

Capcom NEXT confirms new Resident Evil

During the Capcom NEXT event, Resident Evil 7 biohazard director Koshi Nakanishi confirmed that a new entry to the franchise is currently in development.

"We’re making a new Resident Evil," Nakanishi said. "It was really difficult to figure out what to do after Resident Evil 7, but I found it, and to be honest, it feels substantial. I can’t share any details just yet, but I hope you’re excited for the day I can."

Resident Evil 7 biohazard on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

While fans wait for more information about the new game, they can enjoy Resident Evil 7 biohazard, which has joined the Apple family. Starting on July 2, players can enter the game on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and every iPad and Mac with the M1 chip or later.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster release date

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will launch on Sept. 19 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Interested players can preorder the game ahead of time as well. According to an official announcement, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will have a bunch of features and gameplay improvements such as better graphics and updated character models.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess demo

As mentioned, Capcom also announced that the Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess demo is now available on PC via Steam,  Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. The game itself will launch globally on July 19. Preorders are also now available.
