Baldur's Gate 3 released for Windows PC on August 3. That was followed by a PlayStation 5 release on September 6 and a macOs launch on September 22. With a Metacritic score of 96/100, it is touted as one of the best games of all time.

The roleplaying game, developed and published by Larian Studios, is the third installment in the Baldur's Gate franchise. It's based on everyone's favorite tabletop game Dungeons & Dragons. You create a character and play through fantastical levels full of monsters and magic.

One of its most beloved aspects is its cooperative multiplayer capabilities and flexible quests. You can team up with friends and complete objectives in a number of ways. Its turn-based combat, diverse class system, and in-depth story are just a few of its strengths that make it deserving of Game of the Year.
