Atelier Yumia released a 10-minute video featuring a first look and a message from the producer, along with exciting new information.
Koei Tecmo has announced new information regarding their latest entry in the Atelier Series, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, which includes its long-anticipated release date and playable characters.
As previously promised by Koei Tecmo, they were to announce new pieces of information on September 2. The announcement was made through a 10-minute video containing the game's first look and a message from Junzo Hosoi, the head of GUST at Koei Tecmo Games.
Atelier Yumia gameplay
The core game cycle revolves around three major systems: Exploration, Synthesis, and Combat. Explore the field to gather ingredients, synthesize items, and use these items to advance the story or aid in combat and exploration.
Synthesis involves combining various ingredients through alchemy to create new items. The Synthesis system has been renewed in this game, allowing players to manipulate the mana residing in ingredients on the field and perform simple synthesis. Additionally, a new feature called Building has been added.
The theme of Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is "Memory", with a story about Yumia and her companions confronting memories and following the path they believe in despite their doubts.
The story is set on a certain continent across a great sea. Once, this contintent was home to a country called the Aladissian Empire, which had achieved such advancement through alchemy that it kept other nations at bay.
However, the empire collapsed due to a sudden and mysterious natural disaster, transforming the land into an inhospitable place. What kind of natural disaster it was, and what exactly caused it, remains a mystery to this day.

Atelier Yumia consists of six playable characters:
- Yumia Liessfeldt: Yumia lost her mother in an accident when she was young, and that's when she learned that her mother was an alchemist. To uncover the true intentions of her mother, who had hidden her identity as an alchemist, and the truth about the forbidden art of alchemy, Yumia sets out on a journey.
- Viktor von Duerer: A knight from a noble family
- Isla von Duerer: Viktor's sister
- Rutger Arendt: A former adventurer with spectacular experiences
- Nina Friede: A mysterious woman
- Lenja: A timid demi-human
Atelier Yumia release date
Koei Tecmo initially announced the game to come out in early 2025, but it doesn't take long until they finalize it on March 21, 2025. The game will be available on the following platforms.

Additionally, for the first time in the franchise's history, it will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
