Another random collab from Stardew Valley dev
This isn’t the first time Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, the developer behind Stardew Valley made a collaboration with other games. One of the most recent ones is the notorious Infinitty Nikki collab, which a lot of fans were not happy with.
However, this is not the fault of Concenerd Ape. The collab just happened at the wrong time, as Papergames, the developer behind Infinity Nikki, was under fire for the poor management of the game. For fans, it looked like they were using Stardew Valley as a distraction or a PR move to divert attention from the issue. Barone responded to this community concern, stating that he never received any money from these collabs. He only accepted the collaboration because he thought the players would like it.
Things are different with the Among Us x Stardew Valley collab. Many players from both titles are equally excited about it. Some even commented on how they might come back to playing Among Us just for the collab event.
