Third-person tactical shooter Strinova is edging ever closer to its global release. Despite being in beta currently, the game already features a vibrant selection of playable characters that suit every playstyle. So before you head into Dream Town, here's everything you need to know about Strinova's characters, including Weapons, Abilities, Bios, and more.
Painting Utopia Security (P.U.S.) Characters in Strinova
First up is the defending faction in Strinova, the P.U.S. This faction currently features five characters, including the fan favorite Michele. The abilities of this group largely focus on team support and area defense, with Yvette being the aggressive exception.
Michele - Cat-loving Investigator
One of P.U.S' new investigators. Dedicated to safeguarding Dream Town.
Michele is Strinova's feline-inspired character. With her distinctive cat-ear headset and tail, her design puts her love of cats front and center. When players first log into Strinova, the tutorial guides them into a Team Deathmatch match, where we are first introduced to Michele. In her defensive roles, Michele shines with some forethought. If correctly placed Pawtector can decimate enemy shields, allowing players to mow them down.

Given Michele's role as the introductory character, it is not surprising that her weapon is the perfect middle-ground of traits. A classic assault rifle, the Inspector is easy to pick up and comfortable to use no matter your skill level.
Active Skill - Pawtector
Michele's active ability is Pawtector. These feline-shaped turrets stick to walls and deal damage to nearby enemies. While their 2hp of damage alone isn't ground-breaking, the slow effect they inflict can often slow an enemy rush down. Though with their 2 second deployment timer, they are best placed before the start of the round.
Passive Skill- Kitty Tracer
During the battle, if Michele hits an enemy with her primary weapon, they will remain visible even through walls for the duration of this passive (2s).
Ultimate Skill - Mighty Meowblast
Designed in memory of her father, the Mighty Meowblast is a powerful automated turret that deals large amounts of damage with a large range. Unlike the Pawtectors, which act as a minor nuisance, this ultimate can quickly annihilate the enemy's attack.
Nobunaga - P.U.S' Stoic Leader
A P.U.S captain. He has vowed to protect all of Strinova.
Nobunaga is the stoic leader of P.U.S. and brother of Scissors' Reiichi. He is one of Strinova's marksman characters with a supportive utility set designed to boost his survivability and damage output. Alongside Michele, Nobunaga features the strongest ultimate ability on the defence.

Primary Weapon - Judge
This automatic rifle uses high-powered rounds for superior combat effectiveness, making it suitable for all-weather operations. Comes equipped with a 1.5x scope.
Nobunaga's primary weapon is the Judge. It is a DMR that fires high-powered rounds in semi-automatic mode. Through the upgrades, full auto firing can also be enabled. The gun offers high damage output at the cost of movement speed.
Active Skill - Guardian Eye
Nobunaga's active ability allows him to deploy two Guardian Eyes. While in range, he gains an increased rate of fire, weapon usability, and armor regeneration. And if you want to maximize his gameplay, the two eyes can be stacked together for an even bigger boost.
Passive Skill- Blinding Shot
The Judge allows shots to be charged up in ADS mode. When Nobunaga fires a fully charged shot, enemies lose their crosshairs while aiming.
Ultimate Skill - Pulse Overload
A devastating ultimate for both denying entries into a site and for executing retakes, Pulse Overload emits waves in all directions that reveal enemies and block their ability usage while it remains active. In many cases, that can be the key to an easy-round victory.
Kokona - Sniper-wielding medic
One of P.U.S' main operators, and a traveler exploring the very reaches of the world.
Kokona is a unique mesh of two roles you often don't see meshing in games. Her ability set, portrays her as a medic with the ability to heal her allies and revive fallen teammates. But her high-caliber Quasar sniper is a long-range killer. That sets her up as a defensive sniper, benefitting her team simply by staying alive.

Primary Weapon - Quazar
This tactical intervention sniper rifle perfectly combines precision, power, and stealth. Once the longest-range model among Earth's sniper rifles. Equipped with a 2.5x scope.
The Quasar is a primary weapon that will immediately catch the eye of new Strinova players, making Kokona a must-have character. With its incredibly high damage output, and 2.5x scope, it's the perfect weapon for the AWP-wielders.
Active Skill - Healing Drone
As the name suggests, Kokona's ability is simple but effective. Deploying her healing drone allows players to heal their allies and restore Armor to a selected target. A key tool to rejuvenate your defenses after halting the first attack.
Passive Skill- First Aid
Similar to the Healing Drone, Kokona's passive is also a heal. When not engaging in combat, the First Aid skill will slowly regenerate her HP. On top of that, when rescuing an ally, Kokona will automatically deploy a drone to rescue them, leaving her free to attack.
Ultimate Skill - Reconstruction
Sticking to the theme, this ultimate allows Kokona to revive a fallen ally and teleport them to herself, quickly bringing them into action safely.
Yvette - A dynamic duo with Fay
A P.U.S researcher. Best friends with a stuffed bear.
Yvette is P.U.S' aggressive controller. With her trusty stuffed bear Fay, this character can lock down entire bombsites in Strinova on her own. When she is not controlling her bear, Yvette is a fast-moving SMG-wielding defender.

Primary Weapon - Beareas
A light-weight submachine gun with an unusually high rate of fire and precision compared to most other weapons in its class. Equipped with a 1.25x scope.
The Beareas SMG is a high-rate-of-fire weapon that gives its wielder immense mobility. While not as high in damage as ARs, the gun's precision allows Yvette to attack or retreat at will. Plus, its range shortcomings can be overcome with upgrades mid-game.
Active Skill - Teddy Assault
This ability is one that evokes the most joy from the players. Yvette tosses her stuffed bear and watches it transform into a large Grizzly. The bear can then be controlled freely and summon icy surfaces on command to trip up enemies.
Passive Skill- Camouflage
Perhaps inspired by the MCU's Drax, this passive allows Yvetter to stand so still that she becomes nearly invisible to enemies. Though it can be beaten by enemies simply stepping closer.
Ultimate Skill - Frostfall
Taking Fay to the extreme, this ultimate skill brings forth Frost Bear. The polar bear then creates 3 Polar Zones that envelop the surrounding ground in ace, causing enemies to slip and slowing their rate of fire.
Flavia - Phantom Butterfly
An aggressive and calculating squad leader.
Flavia is the blue team's resident Duellist. With her transformative abilities that aid her survivability, she can deal sustained damage while dodging death. Armed with the Solo SMG, Flavia is a tricky agent to defeat.

Primary Weapon - Solo

The Solo SMG takes the Beareas' concept and pushes it to the Close-Quarters-Combat extreme. With even steeper damage fall-off, the weapon is best used in the short range, where it can quickly chew up enemies.
Active Skill - Phantom Mirage
The Phantom Mirage allows Flavia to transform into a butterfly when taking damage. This state makes her invulnerable but prevents her from attacking. At the same time, she summons a Phantom Orb that acts as a static flashbang, blinding all enemies in sight.
Passive Skill- Retribution
Using her enemies against themselves, Flavia's passive converts the damage she takes into cool-down reduction for her abilities. After passing a certain threshold, she also gains temporary ultimate points, allowing the Phantom Flutter to strike early.
Ultimate Skill - Phantom Flutter
When activated, Flavia generates a Phantom Zone within which enemy fatal attacks can be evaded. This effect is temporary, allowing Flavia to return to combat for a short period, but with the added bonus of being invisible till she attacks.
The Scissors Characters in Strinova
Strinova's designated attacking Characters, The Scissors, take the stage next. Consisting primarily of Duellists and Vanguard, this group acquires intel and strikes at targets to ensure victory. Ming and Lawine are two of the many standouts in this faction.
Ming - Sundering Duellist
A member of The Scissors and a rebel opposing P.U.S.
Across the early access, Ming has been a staple of all attacking rosters. With her Sunder Blast and Shield Surge, Ming is all about getting aggressive and slaying foes. Plus, her Rebelflame AR is the classic high-damage rifle platform that all shooters feature.

Aegis Absorb greatly boosts Ming's ability to stay alive after entering the site as it regenerates her armor based on the damage dealt by her weapons.
Ultimate Skill - Shield Surge
This ultimate gives Ming temporary armor and buffs her shots, applying a slow effect on the hit. Damaging enemy armor allows Ming to extend her abilities and replenish her own armor.
Lawine - Intel Seeker
A member of The Scissors. Cuts through falsehoods with their sharp blade.
Lawine is the very first character players will control as they step into the Strinova training arena. And her role quickly becomes apparent. With her pulse blade, Lawine gathers information about the enemy defenses, allowing her team to strike at a moment's notice.

Active Skill - Pulse Blade
Pulse blade is Lawine's trusty melee weapon, which, when thrown, sticks into walls and creates pulses that reveal nearby enemies. The Blade vanishes if no enemies are detected or after 3 scans. When thrown early in a round, the blade can allow the team to avoid traps while also opening up avenues for a late-round rotation.
Passive Skill- Shadow Reveal
This ability functions similarly to Michele's Kitty Reveal, making enemies hit by Lawine's primary weapon visible to her temporarily.

Essentially an Aim Glide, this passive slows down Meredith's descent when she aims with a weapon or skill.
Ultimate Skill - Sand Burial
When charged, Meredith can summon a massive Haboob, obscuring vision and pulling enemies to the center. That grouping allows her teammates to mow down the entire defense.
Reiichi - Light Screen Sniper
Member of The Scissors. Bathed in darkness, reaching for the light.
Reiichi is The Scissor's primary sniper and the brother of P.U.S captain Nobunaga. With his trusty umbrella and the Dawn DMR, Reiichi goes toe to toe with his brother in the duel of marksmen. And his Light Screen wall allows his team to take area control, cutting off sightlines.

Passive Skill - Dawn's Insight
Reiichi's recon ability, Dawn's Insight, auto-activates when in ADS mode. While active, enemies are briefly revealed only to him.

Echo Chamber fires a sonar disk through the Finale SR, which scans for enemies. The scan covers a 180° arc and lasts for 10 seconds. Even when destroyed, Echo Chamber lasts for an additional 2 seconds.

This passive boosts the utility of the sniper, generating a detection zone at the bullet's impact point that reveals enemies temporarily.
Ultimate Skill - Showtime

Celestia is a healer from Urbino's Astral Sanctuary. On the battlefield, she helps boost her teammate's armor while also increasing her own survivability. In her supportive role, Celestia can keep her squad alive through enemy onslaughts

Guardian Star allows Celestia to cast a protective star on an ally, regenerating their armor and increasing their maximum armor. The star then returns to Celestia, boosting her armor as well.
Passive Skill - Cosmic Recovery
This passive skill allows Celestia to gradually restore her own armor, as well as that of nearby allies, making it an incredibly efficient passive skill.
Ultimate Skill - Showtime
With Astral Gate, Celestia grants an ally armor while charging energy. Once fully charged, she teleports to the ally's location. Cancelling the charge halts teleportation but retains the armor boost.
Audrey - Instant Turret Sentinel
An Urbino merchant of some renown and the head of the Grove family.
Audrey was by far the most fun to play character in Strinova's early access. Her Deployment ability props up a tunnel within seconds and allows her to deal ludicrous amounts of sustained damage. Even on the attack, Audrey can lock down sightlines better than some snipers.

Primary Weapon - Champion
Known for its remarkable power and performance, this general-purpose machine gun was a classic sweeper weapon from old Earth's large-scale wars. Equipped with a 1.25x scope.
The Champion is a light machine gun that acts as a miniature version of Audrey's turret. With the shield passive giving her defense, she can stay in ADS and deal continuous damage to her enemies while moving.
Active Skill - Guns Blazing
Guns Blazing is the aforementioned turret that allows Audrey to set up anywhere on the map and drown the enemies in bullets. The only drawback is the overheating cut-off that may hinder its sustained use.
Passive Skill - Royal Shield
Whenever Audrey is in ADS, she generates a front shield attached to the weapon she's firing. This shield boosts her health pool both in ADS mode and in Deployment.
Ultimate Skill - Bombardment
This ultimately brings out a grenade launcher on a platform similar to the turret and allows Audrey to cover entire areas with fire. The grenades also deal damage on impact, meaning most enemies caught in the Bombardment will perish.
Maddelena - Paint Cannon
A sunny and cheerful artist who always seems to end up in the middle of one trouble or another.
Maddelena is a cheerful painter who finds herself on the Urbino battlefield. Alongside her trusty Chrome DMR, she wields a paint gun that activates with her abilities. Crucially, Maddalena's paint is String-blocking, preventing enemies from converting to 2D.

Bai Mo - Graffiti guru
Though now a high-up of Urbino, there's nothing this street youth values more than freedom.
In contrast with Maddelena, Bai Mo is a classic rebel. He enjoys rock, hip-hop, and graffiti and wields a pump-action shotgun in battle. His abilities showcase his unique style, combining dance and graffiti into one of the more unique characters.

Active Skill - Blitz Waltz
Bai Mo dashes forward and reloads his shotgun with two shells, allowing him to jump right into action. The cool-down for this ability refreshes on kills and assists.
Passive Skill - Dance Shackle
When Bai Mo's primary deals at least 50 damage in a shot, it string blocks the enemy, making them easier to target.
Ultimate Skill - Streetfighter
This ability acts as a second life for Bai Mo, allowing him to take risky duels and teleport back to his place's beacon in case he dies. The beacon also restores his HP, making this a very powerful skill.\
