Even though is not the movie the fans were waiting for, a new Grand Theft Auto (GTA) documentary is coming out. The announcement was made by the streaming platform, MUBI, and the documentary is predicted to be broadcast online in early 2025. "Grand Theft Hamlet"

This new documentary is called Grand Theft Hamlet and is inspired by the iconic theater story Hamlet, from Shakespeare. For those who don't know, this is the story of Prince Hamlet, from Denmark, who wants to avenge the death of his father who was executed by his other child. It's a story about revenge, craziness, revenge, and betrayal.

In Grand Theft Hamlet, we follow the story of Sam and Mark, two unemployed actors, during the 2021 global crisis. The most curious part is the fact that all the documentary is recorded in Los Santos, inside the online game. All of the action since stealing cars, shooting people, or flying planes is kept in the documentary taking advantage of the unique characteristics of GTA.

The documentary has already participated in multiple cinema events and even won various awards such as the documentary feature jury award. Grand Theft Hamlet is now aiming for the big screens, but nothing is certain yet.

Grand Theft Auto 6

Grand Theft Hamlet is something that fans could look for before the launching of one of the most awaited games of 2025, GTA 6. According to a May 16 report from Cecilia D'Anastasio at Bloomberg, GTA 6 will have a release date of Fall 2025. All we have to do now is wait for more information about one of the most lucrative games of next year.
