Here’s what you get with the two editions of Frostpunk 2.
Frostpunk created waves back in 2018 with its release winning multiple awards and enthralling a large section of fans. The game requires strategic thinking and players have to strike a balance between growth, exploring the world outside, and simple survival. 11 Bit Studios, the developers of the game are releasing Frostpunk 2 in 2024, pushing the boundaries of what a strategic post-apocalyptic game looks like. Frostpunk 2 Game Editions
There are two game editions in Frostpunk 2 - the Base game and the Deluxe game. As the name suggests, the Deluxe game offers significantly more features than the base game. Of course, it also costs more, but that’s what you would expect from the Deluxe edition of a game. Here’s what’s included in both the games.

The Frostpunk 2 Digital Deluxe Edition contains the base game and much more. It includes early access to the game - up to 72 hours before the game’s official release.
You also get a 10% Pre-order discount and this is applicable only if you buy the game before it launches on September 20, 2024. However, for most players, the more exiting part of the Deluxe Edition would be access to three DLCs post the release of the game. 11 Bit Studios has committed to releasing at least three DLCs after the game’s release. However, they have not stated any timeline for the release of these DLCs.
The Deluxe Edition users will also get access to an exclusive in-game item, however, we still don’t know what this item would look like in the game. Players would get access to the ‘Warm Flesh’ Novella, which is a part of an upcoming Frostpunk Anthology. Frostpunk 2 will be available on PC as well as on Mac. The game has a minimum and recommended specifications for each of the two operating systems and we must say, you can run the game even if you system is not the latest version. However, if you have a relatively new system then you will be able to run the game in all its glory as the graphics in the game are very detailed and awe-inspiring.
