$75,000 on the line for the best women in competitive Fortnite.
Women of the erena is back and is heading up the charge of women competition in Fortnite with another huge tournament. $75,000 is on the line and this time, anyone can take part.
Women of the erena events have been the biggest women-only Fortnite events since they started in 2021. More than $500,000 in prizing has been available since they started.
Open Qualifier
For this iteration of Women of the erena, there will be an open qualifier. This means that any duo of women can sign up and compete for their chance to take home a share of the $75,000 prize pool of the tournament.
The Open Qualifier will be played entirely on North American Fortnite servers, with the top 15 teams from the event moving on to the final main event.
Spots for the Open Qualifier are limited, if you are reading this and think that you could take down the competition, then be sure to sign up quickly to avoid disappointment.
The qualifier will take place on July 31. Players will all be required to stream their perspectives from the games. You can sign up for the Open Qualifier here.
Women of the erena main event
On August 7, all 50 teams that are taking part will play eight custom matches on the current Fortnite map. For the first time in WOTE history, these matches will be split between European and North American servers.
Four of the matches will be in Fortnite Zero Build. Four of them will be in Battle Royale mode. Two of each type of game will be on both EU and NA servers.
The team with the most points at the end of the eight matches will be the winner of the Women of the erena $75,000 tournament.
Prize pool
All 50 teams in the main WOTE event will take home prizing of some kind. No player who makes the event will leave empty handed. Here's the full prize split:
- 1st: $20,000
- 2nd: $12,000
- 3rd: $8,000
- 4th: $3,000
- 5th: $2,500
- 6th: $1,800
- 7th: $1,600
- 8th: $1,400
- 9th: $1,200
- 10th: $1,000
- 11-15th: $800
- 16-20th: $700
- 21-30th: $600
- 31-40th: $500
- 41-50th: $400
Who's going to play?
erena will invite 35 captains to play in the competition. Those 35 captains can then choose the teammate of their choice to take to the island alongside them.
The other 15 duos will come through the Open Qualifier. They will play in the same duos that they qualify in for the main event.
Some of the returning players include multiple-time champions Sommerset and Vanessuh. They'll be looking to make it three wins on the bounce in WOTE events.
Women of the erena stream
There will not be an official stream for the qualifier of this August's WOTE event. But things will be back in action for the main event on Monday, August 7.
The stream will be on the official eFuse Twitch channel and will go live with the start of the event at 1 p.m. EST.
