Veno shares his unapologetic thoughts going into day two of Fortnite Globals.

The Fortnite Global Championship 2024 event is gearing up to begin its second (and final) day of competition, and while some players are looking to capitalize on the momentum from yesterday's games, others are hoping for a miracle. Veno and Clix, however, understand what they need to do going into day two of Fortnite Globals.

Popular competitor, Veno, sat down with me ahead of day two to give his unapologetic thoughts on how he felt the first day of competition went.

Veno talks the current state of Fortnite during the Global Championship

While Veno is famous for his Fortnite skills and clutching up in crucial situations, the player is also famous for being incredibly unapologetic. The man is not afraid to give his thoughts on how he feels about the game and the competition.

I was able to get an exclusive interview with the player just after placing 13th on day one of Fortnite Globals.

"We were fifth until the last two games," said Veno in an exclusive interview when discussing how the first day of competition went. "We were playing solid, but, I mean, the game is f**king boring."

This comes after a long line of complaints about the recent competitive state of Fortnite have been circulating throughout the competitive scene.

"This s**t is not competitive at all. This happened to me last Globals. Every zone pulls max. Every scrim I have played during the last season, we played at Castle Doom, going through the building during the endgame. I don't even know if that is f**king real, because we haven't played one of those yet."

This leads to the question of whether or not the players are receiving the right competitive practice going into these large events.

"Every scrim I play, the zone pulls south. I think I had three games where the zone pulled top right. I'm still doing good in them, but every game is a max pull."

Despite the struggle of dealing with zones never pulling in the duo's favor, both Clix and Veno have adapted well during the competition to keep themselves in a top 15 sitting.

So, can the duo hold onto this confidence going into day two?

For Veno, he and Clix understand that today's 1.5x point multiplier is a crucial system that they need to capitalize on.

"If there wasn't the point multiplier, I would 100 percent say that Peterbot and Pollo have the win in the bag," said Veno. "I'm going to take a look at our games, though, and see what needs to be done for day two. Beforehand, I would go into the games with a few ideas on what needed to happen. It wasn't until we were contested that I would have to change things up."

But how does Veno feel playing on NA over the last few months?

"The average EU pro is definitely better," said Veno when talking about playing the last FNCS Major on NA servers with Clix. "I feel like you can push people a lot more. Globals, though, is easier than FNCS. We have people coming from some of the worst regions so it is really easy to kill people.

Going into day two, Veno and Clix have a total of 168 points, putting them only 10 points behind 10th place. Will the duo be able to make that jump forward, putting them at the top of the leaderboard? The two competitors certainly have the skill.
