“Anybody can participate in esports. Don’t let people stop you. Don’t let comments get to your head or anything like that. Just believe in yourself and have confidence.”
After duking it out live at TwitchCon San Diego on Oct. 18, Vader and Nina emerged victorious! The crowd cheered as the Fortnite duo lifted their trophy at The Milk Cup 2025 Finals. Vader and Nina later sat down with esports.gg for an interview. Here's what the winners of The Milk Cup 2025 Finals had to say about what The Milk Cup means to them plus their journey to the very top!

Vader and Nina win The Milk Cup 2025 Finals
As the winning duo of The Milk Cup 2025 Finals, Vader and Nina earned $78,000 USD and the honor of having their names etched onto the trophy forever. After celebrating with the crowd and fellow competitors, they spoke with esports.gg about how it felt to witness everyone at TwitchCon San Diego celebrate their victory. They also shared their thoughts about becoming inspiration for women in esports.
"Honestly, that feeling today of me standing on stage with Vader and lifting the trophy -- I was honestly really happy. I never realized I had so many people that were cheering for me," Nina said. "That was really a great moment to feel. I think anyone who wants to get into esports, [whether] they're younger or older, they can literally just keep grinding and going for it because that's how I succeed in my dreams."
Vader agreed, describing the surreal feeling of lifting the trophy after earlier splits didn't go exactly as planned. However, showing up at the LAN and taking home the gold proved doubters wrong and demonstrated that anyone can be part of esports.
"Anybody can participate in esports," Vader told esports.gg. "Don't let people stop you. Don't let comments get to your head or anything like that. Just believe in yourself and have confidence."
Nina and Vader's journey to the top
In terms of the duo's journey to the top, Vader recalled her and Nina's breakthrough after Game 4. That was when they really locked in and focused on playing their own game without worrying about the other teams. Their approach going into The Milk Cup Finals this year was also centered around playing with more confidence. Having good vibes complemented that as well.
"This year, one of the things that we've been working on is having more confidence and going for those riskier plays," Vader explained. "We went for high ground a lot more this LAN than we did last time. Last time, we didn't take that risk, per se, but this time, we took the necessary risks in order to win."

"We went into the tournament with great vibes, good mental," Nina added. "We were like that for the whole tournament. Third game, [...] I think that was like our worst game throughout the tournament. Our vibes were a little bit down, but I told Vader like, 'We just keep our vibes up, we know this is the easiest tournament for us, we literally got this, and we will really win it all no matter what it takes.'"
Consistency was key under the points system as well, where wins granted 65 points and each elimination gave out a single point. According to Vader, the final two games were cinematic as they were clashes between their steady strategy and Fraanticc and Kanary strategy of chasing maximum eliminations. Perhaps what made these final games even more cinematic was that fact that they were also clashes between Vader and Nina as the Series 1 winners plus Fraanticc and Kanary as the winners of Series 2 and Series 3.

As for how Vader and Nina plan to celebrate their victory, Nina told esports.gg that they plan to visit a Brazilian steakhouse.
That's all for now. Congratulations to Vader and Nina on winning The Milk Cup 2025 Finals! Stick around on esports.gg for more Fortnite news, interviews, and updates.
