The Milk Cup Winter Split schedule

The Winter Split features two qualifier events before the finals. While Qualifier 1 kicks off on Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. PST, Qualifier 2 begins on Dec. 9. Then, the Winter Split Finals event happens on Dec. 16. As for the prize pool, it's $50,000.

Fortnite Winter Split format and game mode

In terms of the format, the Winter Split features duos duking it out in Fortnite's Zero Build game mode. All of the matches take place online as well. It should be noted that only U.S. residents can participate in this tournament.

Winter Split Qualifiers explained

According to an official announcement, Qualifier 1 features open signups and concurrent lobbies. Folks can also expect an NFL Red Zone-style broadcast. The circuit then narrows the teams down for Qualifier 2 until there's one remaining lobby. This lobby is for the Winter Split Finals.
