Sabrina Carpenter Fortnite skin: First look and release date

Fortnite Festival Season 8 begins on April 8, welcoming new headliner Sabrina Carpenter to the game and the Icon Series. Epic Games recently teased that the "Espresso" singer would make her long-awaited Fortnite debut soon, and we officially have the details regarding Sabrina Carpenter's Fortnite skin and more.

Here is everything you need to know about the Grammy Award winner's upcoming appearance in Fortnite.

Sabrina Carpenter arrives in Fortnite with two skins, continuing the same trend we've seen with previous Festival artists such as Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Hatsune Miku. Epic Games' official blog post outlines the entire offering available to players in the Fortnite Festival Season 8 "Music Pass."

The Music Pass-exclusive skin is the base Sabrina Carpenter Outfit, featuring the singer in a yellow dress and corset designed by Victoria's Secret, as seen on her current world tour. After purchasing the "Premium" Pass upgrade, players can choose between the two alternate styles displayed above.

Beyond the Music Pass-exclusive Sabrina Carpenter skin, Fortnite will feature the Tour-Ready Outfit beginning on April 8 and throughout Festival Season 8. As Epic Games describes, this version depicts the artist in another outfit seen on tour, designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Michael Schmidt Studios.

Players who purchase Tour-Ready Sabrina Carpenter via the Item Shop can choose between her default pink style and Baby Blue alternate style. All skins covered thus far will have a LEGO variant available for that game mode.

Other cosmetics included in the Item Shop bundle are a Back Bling, two Emotes, a Contrail, and Sabrina's Mic, shown in the picture above.

The Sabrina Carpenter Outfit requires a Premium Pass upgrade, which costs 1,400 V-Bucks. Once you purchase the Premium version, you will unlock the skin automatically. You could also subscribe to the Fortnite Crew subscription service for $11.99 monthly, granting access to all Premium Passes.

Fortnite will likely experience a brief downtime later this evening to prepare for tomorrow's update. With the Sabrina Carpenter Festival update, servers will be back online on the morning of April 8.
