The first major Fortnite LAN tournament in the UK is being held this summer by Red Bull. Competitors looking to compete can now register for two separate open qualifiers.

Red Bull Contested: The UK's first major Fortnite LAN tournament to hold open qualifiers this weekend

The event will not only be the first major Fortnite LAN for the UK, but will also have various pros competing.

Professional Fortnite players like Martin “MrSavage” Foss Andersen, Harry “Veno” Pearson and Thomas "Th0masHD" Høxbro Davidsen are just a few of the confirmed players.

But the tournament is not exclusive to well-known professional gamers. Red Bull is hosting two qualifiers this weekend, giving a select few players a spot in the finals held later this summer.

Red Bull Contested: Open Qualifiers dates:

  • May 20, 2023
  • May 21, 2023

The qualifiers will be made up of four games each day and only include 100 participants. The event is open to only EU players and can be registered for here.

Players who qualify this weekend will have all accommodations paid for, including housing, travel and meals during their trip to the finals.
