Peterbot and Pollo walk out of day one of Fortnite Globals in first place.

Peterbot and Pollo walk out of day 1 of Fortnite Globals with 147-point lead
You know you are the G.O.A.T.'s when you are able to manage to grab two Victory Royales in just day one of a tournament as big as the Fortnite Global Championship. Peterbot and Pollo, two of the most underrated players within the North American region, are preparing to make a name for themselves, as the two managed to walk out of day one in first place.
And the duo is 147 points ahead of second place, Queasy and Th0masHD.
Earlier on in the tournament, Peterbot managed to lose a 1v1 fight to end the game while he was holding height. During this moment, fans and players thought this was a major downfall for the duo's tournament.
Well, it would seem like the two were not going to let that moment define their 2024 Globals.
Going into game five, the duo managed to finish the game with a Victory Royale, putting them 50 points ahead of second place.
But a 50-point lead was not enough for the duo.

Going into game six, many spectators began to wonder just how easily Pollo and Peterbot would be able to hold onto first place.
Well, it did not seem like it was too much of a hassle for the duo.
Despite holding low ground during the end of game six, Pollo was able to make a swift jump towards height, grabbing an elimination. Yet, Pollo was not able to fully capitalize on that movement, as Peterbot's duo ended up going down in those final moments.
Peterbot, however, was not willing to let that Victory Royale slip from his grasp. In an intense 1v1 fight, with Peterbot's health dwindling to single digits, the competitor was able to win the game, putting the duo 147 points above second place.
Tomorrow's 6 games will have a point multiplayer
Going into game number seven, which takes place on September 8, 2024, Peterbot and Pollo will have to continue with their momentum from today's tournament. Despite being so high above everyone else, the team will have its set of challenges tomorrow as the second day of games will have a 1.5x point multiplier system.
This means that anyone could make a comeback.
