The Mighty Kong will land in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1!
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has already been unveiled after an unfortunate misstep by Epic Games, who prematurely released the trailer in-game. That prompted the developers to drop the gameplay and cinematic trailers within hours of each other. Nothing revealed in the trailers could match the reveal of Godzilla, at least from a size perspective. However, additional leaks have indicated that Kong will join his fellow kaiju in Chapter 6 of Fortnite. Here is what we know about this collab.
Leaks suggest a Kong collaboration will happen in Fortnite Chapter 6
Since he hasn't earned the title of "King" yet, Kong will presumably make his Fortnite debut in his more primitive version. Based on the leaks per ShiinaBR and Godzilla's appearance in the game, this collaboration revolves around the ongoing Monsterverse film series. This franchise began with Godzilla in 2014 and featured the giant reptile versus Kong in 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong and 2024's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Pair these details with the "Monarch" branded creates spotted in the gameplay trailer, and the basis of this crossover is clear.

What will this collaboration entail?
Since Godzilla will be an in-game skin and boss character, it's fair to expect the same for Kong in Fortnite Chapter 6. Whether the two will battle similarly to the Call of Duty: Warzone event from a few years back is unclear. However, that's a solid place to start theorizing. We'll have to wait and see what more comes of Godzilla and Kong's involvement in the season. It's fair to assume the two will battle each other since we already know Godzilla will be on the map.
Fortnite's Chapter 6 key art indicates Godzilla could be part of the Battle Pass lineup, but what about Kong? The giant gorilla could follow suit as a secret Battle Pass character or be an Item Shop skin. Ultimately, we will have to wait and see what more details surface in the lead-up to the Fortnite Remix event and Chapter 6's arrival.
