Kamala Harris reveals Fortnite map: Freedom Town, USA

In an effort to reach younger undecided voters, the Kamala Harris presidential campaign just revealed a brand-new Fortnite map called "Freedom Town, USA." Here is everything we know about the map.

We all know that Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) maps have become increasingly popular with companies attempting to push their brand, but who would have ever expected a presidential candidate to utilize the game?

Well, Kamala Harris is making history by pushing her campaign's first UEFN map, which is titled, "Freedom Town, USA."

The map is themed around different Harris/Walz Campaign pledges, including tax breaks, affordable housing and more.

So, how does someone make a Fortnite map centered around a political campaign? Well, let's take a look at it.

With the election only two weeks away, both presidential campaigns are working hard to reach new voters. Just yesterday, Tim Walz went live on Twitch with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, playing Madden and talking about current issues going on in the world.

Even last week, Bernie Sanders streamed on Twitch with Pokimane and Valkyrae. Meanwhile, Trump went live on Kick with Adin Ross last month. It would seem that the candidates are beginning to realize the untapped market of young voters that reside on the internet.

However, Harris creating a Fortnite map is something no other political candidate has done, making her attempt unique. The only question is: Will it truly hit the right market?

The map features various mini-games that take place in a massive city inspired by New York. Many of these mini-games are themed around different issues that the Harris/Walz campaign has pledged to take on.

In fact, in one game, players are tasked with gaining building materials to help build some of the 3 million houses the campaign plans to build if elected.
