The game's new jungle theme is the perfect biome for Raptors and other types of creatures to hide out. But what happens if you see a Raptor?
You don't necessarily have to eliminate them at first glance. You can actually tame these wild creatures.
Here is how you can ride a Raptor in Fortnite:
- Locate a Raptor
- Move next to the Raptor
- Jump on the Raptor using whatever specified keybind you have assigned
And that is it, you can now ride a Raptor. The controls are pretty simple, and Raptors can jump heights unachievable by a normal player.
What if you can't locate a Raptor?
Don't see a Raptor anywhere? Luckily, Fortnite has added another way to tame these wild dinosaurs.
Players who locate a Raptor Egg can nurture it until it hatches. Once hatched, the Raptor will be yours to roam the island with. Jump into the fight and give other players a scare.
Being able to ride animals may not be a new mechanic for Fortnite players, but specifically being able to ride Raptors is. In fact, players were able to ride wolves and hogs seasons ago.
