Your chances to become Godzilla in Fortnite have increased exponentially!
Fortnite's recent Godzilla update is well underway, allowing players to become the giant reptile and meticulously destroy those around them. Epic Games initially set Godzilla's spawn rate in Fortnite at roughly 20%, but that is no longer true. The opportunity to become the Kaiju sits at 100% as of today, so now is your chance to shine.
Here is everything you need to know about this Godzilla-sized update!
Godzilla spawn rate in Fortnite increased to 100%
Fortnite announced the spawn rate increase on their official social media accounts, adding that Godzilla will also have more health. When the first update landed, players found it relatively easy to eliminate the monster, so that will no longer be much of an issue.
The increased spawn rate is significant since this update is temporary and will likely never happen again. Now, more players will be able to reach the elusive Godzilla portal. However, that does not mean it's easy, but now you can leave a match if the cards don't fall in your favor.

How long will Godzilla remain in the game?
Epic Games' blog post regarding the Godzilla update indicates the Titan Takeover experience will remain until Chapter 6 Season 1 ends on Feb. 21 at 2 a.m. ET. As a result, you have plenty of time to take advantage of Godzilla's spawn rate increase before time runs out.
You can still enjoy the Titan Takeover, Godzilla Medallion, and everything else involved in the current iteration of Chapter 6 Season 1. Don't forget to grab the Godzilla Battle Pass cosmetics before it's too late since those may never return.
At least one more update will occur between now and the end of Season 1, but it's unclear what that will entail.
