A Godzilla skin in Fortnite is coming very soon!
Godzilla is coming to Fortnite, which is not a statement anyone expected to hear in 2024. With Chapter 6 mere days away, Epic Games has revealed the kaiju-sized collaboration that intrigues and confuses you. The legendary movie monster will arrive shortly in a crossover with a Godzilla Fortnite skin. This article outlines everything you need to know.
When is the Godzilla skin coming to Fortnite?
The Godzilla collaboration became public knowledge when the Chapter 6 key art leaked prematurely. Fans quickly analyzed the lineup of characters, identifying the Toho monster and the animated character Baymax from Disney's Big Hero 6. Based on the key art, we expect the Godzilla skin to be available beginning Dec. 1 via the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass. The kaiju will likely be an unlockable Outfit in the primary offering or a separate inclusion in the Battle Pass.
If that were the case, Epic Games could arrange for the Godzilla Fortnite skin not to be unlockable until later in the season. Either way, several leakers have confirmed that the monster will be a character you can play. However, that's not all, as additional intel has revealed more about this crossover.

How else will the colossal reptile factor into Chapter 6?
In addition to the unthinkable Godzilla skin, Fortnite Chapter 6 will feature a boss battle with the giant reptile. A similar event occurred in Call of Duty: Warzone, pitting King Kong vs. Godzilla for an in-game experience. It's currently unclear how and when the Godzilla battle will occur. However, it should happen in real-time if it's anything like the Doctor Doom battle from Chapter 5 Season 4.
No matter how you look at it, Chapter 6 looks promising, but it's far too early to say. The Battle Pass lineup looks solid, and a massive boss battle with arguably the most famous kaiju should deliver. We expect to hear more in the coming days.
