Fortnite has revealed the STACKED Chapter 6 Season 3 Star Wars Battle Pass!
Fortnite's upcoming Star Wars-inspired season launches on May 2, with appropriately themed items, locations, and more set to arrive. Amid the chaotic lead-up to the season, Epic Games has revealed the entire Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass lineup.
There are some serious Star Wars icons set to join when the new season lands next week. This article outlines everything you can expect in the Season 3 Battle Pass when it begins.
General Grievous and Emperor Palpatine will be Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass exclusives
Epic Games published the official Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass key art one day after showcasing an early look at the map and some points of interest (POIs). One day later, the game's official social media accounts dropped the Battle Pass lineup, featuring an all-Star Wars roster.
General Grievous and Emperor Palpatine are the standout characters here. The former, while not a Jedi or Sith, was one of the key players in the prequel trilogy. Known chiefly for his four arms wielding Lightsabers, Grievous is an incredible inclusion in Season 3.

Emperor Palpatine is another legendary Star Wars character who has somehow evaded his Fortnite debut until this point. Formerly Chancellor Palpatine and occasionally referred to as Darth Sidious, he is one of the few to appear in all three trilogies.

Who are the other characters in the Season 3 Battle Pass?

Rounding out the five-character Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass are Poe Dameron, a Wookie-inspired Cuddle Team Leader, and Jedi Evie. Poe Dameron, played by actor Oscar Isaac, is a skilled pilot working with the New Republic in the latest Star Wars trilogy.
The final two characters depicted in the key art are a Wookie version of the iconic Cuddle Team Leader Outfit and a Jedi version of Fortnite's Evie character.
Overall, this lineup offers two characters most Fortnite players will want, and the rest are just gravy. We already have confirmation that Darth Jar Jar and Mace Windu will also arrive in Chapter 6 Season 3, so there should be a skin available for all Star Wars fans.
Are Lightsaber Pickaxes going to happen?
One question that emerged from this sudden revelation is whether Fortnite players will finally get Lightsaber Pickaxes. This request has remained in place since the first Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration in 2019. Some leakers believe there is evidence to suggest that Lightsaber Pickaxes may happen.
As indicated by HYPEX, General Grievous and Evie are holding Lightsabers dissimilar to any in-game versions of the weapon we've seen in past Star Wars events. While indeed not confirmation, this could mean a Lightsaber Pickaxe may arrive in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.
From a feedback perspective, most commenters, including content creator Ali "SypherPK" Hassan, were curious about the potential of Lightsaber Pickaxes, which took much of the attention away from the Star Wars characters.
Regardless, the Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass lineup looks promising, and the addition of Lightsaber Pickaxes would elevate it significantly.
