First-person in Fortnite may be closer than you think.

Fortnite has been teasing first-person mode for so long now, and no one actually knows what to expect. What will it feel like? When will it be released? These are questions many Fortnite fans have been asking for quite some time now.

Well, it looks like we may have gotten a few new leaks, and they are huge.

Everything we know about Fortnite's first-person mode

All we knew in the past was that Fortnite had been secretly working on a first-person mode for the game. Will this be a new feature for Battle Royales? Not necessarily, no. PUBG allowed players to switch from third to first-person seamlessly, but could Fortnite do it better?

Well, it may take a while for that question to be answered. As of now, first-person mode will only be available in Fortnite Creative when it drops. Battle Royale and Zero Build fans will have to wait a bit longer (or forever) for the feature to be added to their respective game modes.

What we do know, however, is some of the weapons Fortnite has been testing first-person out with.

All guns available in the new mode

Leaked by HYPEX on Twitter, Fortnite has already been testing quite a few weapons with first-person mode. At the moment, the first-person mode works with all ranged weapons.

This means that basically, all of the guns in Fortnite are working in first-person mode.

We did learn, though, that some weapons and mechanics have not been tested yet and are not available in this new mode. Dual weapons, Ballistic Shields, swimming, gliding and skydiving are not available yet in first-person mode.

So, will the new game mode ever come to Battle Royale? Or will it stick in Creative?
