Here’s everything to know about Fortnite v33.20!

The Fortnite v33.20 patch is officially live following a brief downtime. Although not a massive update, Fortnite Festival Season 7 has arrived, welcoming the Hatsune Miku collaboration. Epic Games also reintroduced a few weapons into the game and set the stage for Fortnite's Godzilla crossover. Here is everything you need to know about the latest Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 update.

Hatsune Miku debuts in Fortnite v33.20

Japanese vocal pop star Hatsune Miku is a character in Fortnite, following weeks of teasers and leaks. This collaboration centers around Fortnite Festival Season 7. First debuting in Chapter 2, Fortnite's version of the Railgun has returned in the v33.20 update. Epic Games has reduced the damage values of the weapon. Only the Epic and Legendary variants are available in the current update.

Godzilla and Kong are coming to Fortnite soon

Although not in-game as of the v33.20 update, Godzilla and Kong are set to make their official Fortnite debut. According to HYPEX, the Godzilla update will arrive sometime this week, introducing a Godzilla Mythic, where players can transform into the Kaiju. You can beam, stomp, roar, and more in this form.

There may be a mini-event where players can battle Godzilla on the map. It's also possible that a Kong Mythic will accompany the Godzilla version, which could make for all-out monster brawls in Fortnite matches.

From a cosmetic perspective, Godzilla and Kong will have various Fortnite skins. Godzilla's Battle Pass Outfits offer a blue and pink style. The previously rumored Mechagodzilla will likely be available in a future Item Shop rotation. Lastly, Kong will have a Fortnite Outfit complete with a metal arm, as seen in Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire.

We will provide further updates when Godzilla arrives in the game, presumably this week.
