Fortnite is reportedly adding a separate Disney Shop.

We all know that the future of Fortnite is about to evolve heavily around Disney, as the company invested over a billion dollars into the video game and plans to release a massive Disney world in Fortnite. But it seems like Disney is also planning some unique monetizing strategies by implementing a Disney Shop into Fortnite.

And yes, this will be separate from the regular Item Shop.

Fortnite plans to add a Disney Shop aside from the Item Shop

Fortnite's Item Shop has progressed over time. We went from a minuscule interface, showing off a few skins every week, to now a plethora of cosmetics that players can purchase. Change is inevitable, and Fortnite has only moved forward.

But now, with Disney in the mix, Fortnite plans on adding an entire Disney Shop aside from the regular Item Shop. This has all been reported by various leakers, including Hypex, who is well-known for almost always being accurate.

The Disney D23 Expo is set to take place tonight, and there are quite a few rumors involved with Fortnite and Marvel. It is already assumed that all the Disney x Fortnite integrations are going to be announced.

So, how will this change the Item Shop?

Will this make changes to the Item Shop?

Sure, the Item Shop will change a bit in Fortnite. That is, there will no longer be any Marvel, Pirates of the Caribbean and other Disney characters in it. These characters will be reserved for the new Disney Shop. But will the Disney Shop have every Disney character ever released in Fortnite? Or will it change with every update?

That is yet to be known. Fortnite does, though, have quite a bit of Marvel skins and other Disney characters in its game. It is more than likely that the new shop will showcase specific skins each week.

This also means that there could be more room in the regular Item Shop for other skins to appear. Who knows, your favorite Fortnite skin may begin to show up a bit more often.
