Fortnite’s pre-summer break update has shuffled the Reload loot pool. Here’s what Epic Games added and removed!
Fortnite's final update before the annual Epic Games summer break has arrived. Alongside the Squad Game collaboration, the developers have shaken up Fortnite Reload's game mode's loot pool. Several weapons rotated out while a few others joined in on the fun.
This article outlines all of the vaulted and unvaulted weapons in the Reload lineup, as of Wednesday, June 18, which should help you understand the type of loadout you'd like to prioritize.
What's new and gone from the Fortnite Reload loot pool as of June 18?
This is perhaps the most drastic shakeup in Fortnite Reload, but it's likely a course correction following the release of the Slurp Rush map.
The list of removed items and weapons is noticeably longer than the items added to Reload. Of all the vaulted items, the most significant are the various Chapter 2 Mythic weapons. Those include Meowscle's Peow Peow Rifle, Ocean's Burst Assault Rifle, Slone's Burst Assault Rifle, and more.
In place of those weapons, Epic Games added some rather underwhelming options, such as the Twin Mag SMG and Striker Burst Rifle. It's also worth noting the inclusion of the Red-Eye Submachine Gun, which has never appeared in Battle Royale.
Below, we have provided a comprehensive list of the unvaulted and vaulted items per Osirion:

Are these good changes?
This adjustment has taken a lot of the fun out of the Fortnite Reload game mode from the outset. While the experience should balance out, the Mythics are some of the most enjoyable weapons to use. That said, the playing field is much more level.
The readdition of Glider Redeploy and FlowBerry Fizz should make rotating much easier, but that's not usually an issue in Reload, regardless. Much of the player feedback revolved around the Red-Eye SMG. Not many were familiar with this weapon, as it had only ever appeared in Reload.
It will be interesting to see what changes, if any, with the upcoming Squid Game Reload map, but this is the loot pool as it stands.
