One of the Fortnite legends has hung up their jersey as Fortnite pro Arkhram took to Twitter today to announce he is officially quitting Fortnite.
The 100 Thieves competitor has stated he wishes to find a new route in his gaming career. Fortnite no longer satisfies his need competitively, and he is looking to join the world of Valorant.
"I've been pursuing Valorant for the past couple of months and I've found a new passion; to be the best," said Arkhram. "I want to continue playing Valorant and eventually compete among the best."

Arkhram first made waves within the Fortnite community when he competed in the World Cup, walking away with fifth place. Being at a very young age at the time, the Fortnite pro inspired many young esports athletes to follow their dream.

Arkhram's Fortnite career will not be forgotten. The 18-year-old player currently holds 17th place for the highest amount of earnings out of any Fortnite player. His current earnings are $774,416 just from competitive Fortnite.

With this announcement, he also announced his leave from 100 Thieves, as he is now looking for a new organization to allow him to represent. This announcement leaves a hole for the future of Fortnite, as more and more players are leaving the game for other competitive games such as Valorant.
