Fortnite x Futurama: Details on the collaboration and more

Fortnite is the top dog when it comes to surprising fans with new and unexpected collaborations. Their newest one, Futurama, has got quite a bit of gamers up in an excited frenzy.

Here are all the details surrounding the new Fortnite x Futurama collaboration.

New New York has sent its finest to the Battle Royale. With three popular characters joining the game, Fortnite now can say it has met with just about every universe in today's pop culture.

The collaboration also features a brand-new weapon that will make its way into ordinary Fortnite playlists.

Futurama Fortnite weapon:

Bender's Shiny Metal Raygun will be located as floor loot and also given directly to players by Bender, who will be roaming the island. Make sure you have gold bars though, because he is not giving it away for free.

The weapon runs on infinite plasma, but has a cool-down and will overheat if fired too much at one time. Be careful!

The new update not only featured their new Futurama collaboration but also reintroduced a new weapon, augment and brought back the lever-shotgun.

This new behemoth of a pistol is back from the Ice Age to deal heavy damage to anyone who uses it! The gun uses heavy ammo and is found as floor loot.
