WWE superstar John Cena joins Fortnite Battle Royale as a playable character ahead of Summerslam 2022 this weekend.

John Cena is finally arriving in Fortnite after months of speculation that this collaboration would eventually happen. The WWE superstar turned movie star recently followed a slew of Fortnite-related content creators and professional players in recent months. As a result, fans naturally speculated that a John Cena crossover was in the works at Epic Games. Sure enough, ahead of WWE’s upcoming Summerslam 2022 event, the 16-time Champion will make his Fortnite debut.

Epic Games announced the Fortnite x John Cena collaboration, making Cena the second wrestler turned actor – after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a.k.a. The Foundation – to become an in-game character outfit. Here’s everything we know about John Cena’s upcoming appearance in Fortnite Battle Royale.

It was only a matter of time until the decorated WWE superstar entered Fortnite as a playable character. His barrage of Fortnite Twitter interactions pointed toward this inevitable collaboration. Soon, you’ll be able to unlock the entire John Cena set, which includes his patented WWE Championship spinner belt.

Cena famously held this title numerous times during the height of his career in the wrestling promotion. Furthermore, the recent F9 actor recently celebrated his 20th anniversary in WWE. Rocket League & Fall Guys join Fortnite in WWE collaboration

Fortnite is not the only game to partner with WWE. In a separate blog post, Epic Games announced that superstars Asuka, Xavier Woods and, The Undertaker would become in-game Fall Guys skins. Additionally, Rocket League includes a Roman Reigns and John Cena decal for vehicles in the game. 

Overall, the Epic Games collaboration with WWE could start a fruitful relationship. Undoubtedly, the number of superstars, both past and present, might draw significant consideration from the Fortnite fanbase. Finally, the Fortnite x John Cena crossover arrived just in time for Summerslam 2022, which airs live this Saturday night.
